Interesting Facts
Having come through the NSW Institute of Sport and the Australian Institute of Sport, Adam had a short trial with English club, the Bolton Wanderers before joining the Wolverhampton Wanderers (Wolves) on a non-contract basis for much of 2002/03.
Adam spent a short time with Italian Club Sardegna in Serie C1 before deciding to return to England. From 2004 to 2006 he played for various clubs including Leeds, Reading, Maidenhead United and Carshalton.
In 2006 he signed a one-year professional contract with Reading and after some impressive performances in the FA Cup, signed a new contract keeping him with the club until 2009.
Adam played with the Under 20 team in the 2005 FIFA World Youth Championship in the Netherlands. He has since been picked as a sub for the senior national team but has not yet run on for the team. The Olympic Games will also be his debut for the under 23 side.
